Ducted Fume Cupboard
Our ducted fume cupboards, also known as laboratory fume hoods or fume cabinets, are connected to an external exhaust duct system. Contaminated air, chemical fumes and vapours are extracted from the work area and discharged safely outside the building through a suitable exhaust system.
Ductless Fume Hood
Ductless fume hoods are self-contained fume extraction units that use specialised filtration systems to capture and filter contaminants before the air is returned to the laboratory. They can be considered for suitable applications where conventional external ducting is not practical, subject to chemical compatibility and filtration requirements.
Fume Extractor Arms
Fume extractor arms provide targeted Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) by capturing fumes, vapours and airborne contaminants directly at or near their source. Their flexible design makes them suitable for laboratory workstations and processes requiring point-of-source extraction.
LEV Testing, HT2 & DOE Compliance Support
In addition to supplying and installing fume extraction systems, Ultra Scientific also provides Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) testing, by Hygiene Technician 2 (HT2), to assess the performance and effectiveness of LEV systems.
We also provide support for Department of Environment (DOE) submission requirements, including relevant notification and declaration requirements, helping customers manage the necessary documentation and compliance processes associated with their fume extraction and ventilation systems.
Chemical Storage Cabinets
Ultra Scientific also supplies chemical storage cabinets designed for the safe and reliable storage of laboratory chemicals.
Our chemical storage cabinets are available in mild steel and polypropylene construction, providing suitable options for different chemical storage applications and laboratory environments. The cabinets can be selected according to the type of chemicals being stored, storage requirements and laboratory conditions.
